I have been in a head-on car accident about six years ago. I had physical therapy following the accident for about three months and no treatment of any kind since then. I suffered from neck and shoulder pain. I could not stay up too late as fatigue made my pain even worse. I was irritable and negative.

I was driving by the clinic one day and decided to find out what could be done about my pain. Dr. Marksfeld explained to me the causes, the effects, and the solution to my problem. He gave me a choice that day whether to feel better short-term and keep coming back when the pain was unbearable or to attack the source of the problem and live a healthier life both physically and mentally. I chose the latter.

Within a week, my pain lessened substantially and, most amazing of all, my vision improved drastically. I wear contact lenses and when I was fatigued, my vision worsened at the same time. I was about to get new and stronger sets of lenses when I noticed clearer and sharper vision during that first week of treatment. I ordered new sets of contact lenses a couple of weeks later, but they were of the same strength!!! Now, I am more energized, less irritable, virtually pain-free, seeing like an eagle, and most important of all, I better enjoy my life. I had a car accident 4 months ago and after 4 months of treatment with Dr. Penner and Tai, I feel 100% better. My sports activity has improved and I'm feeling more energetic and healthy everyday. Thanks guys for an awesome job!

Truly Amazing Chiropractic and Massage Care

We came to Seattle for my lung cancer treatment with Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. For a life-long non-smoker the diagnosis of 20% chance of survival was tough. The cancer care has been effective but my body needed more. The care and hope given by Dr. Birdsall and his team has been a blessing beyond words. The combination of chiropractic and massage treatment has both strengthened and encouraged me. The whole team has become like family because they received both me and my wife like family. I have recommended South Lake Union Chiropractic and Massage to a number of my health care providers at SCCA. My wife was recovering from a near fatal trafic accident. Her treatment had been put on the back burner because of my diagnosis. Dr. Birdsall has, through his combination of skill and sensitivity, given her back her range of motion and she is now virtually pain free. Her massage therapy at the clinic has provided a great combination that has produced results. We are so thankful to have found South Lake Union Chiropractic and Massage. Our only regret is that we leave Seattle for Oregon tomorrow. But we will come back every three months for cancer check-ups. We are planning to make an appointment every time we are in town. I can not say enough good things about the team at South Lake Union Chiropractic and Massage. I have been receiving chiropractic and massage services to treat injuries after a car accident. Dr. Birdsall is extremely knowledgeable, sensitive and caring. Tai, one of the massage therapists, is by far the best therapist I have ever experienced! Shea in the front office is so friendly, always greeting me with a smile when I arrive. I highly recommend South Lake Union Chiro. and Massage to anyone in need of a very professional, skilled, and caring team of people!

These folks are very friendly and unpretentious. They always make me feel welcome and Tai, one of the massage therapists, is really friendly and does a superb job. I like my massages firm, and she made me feel comfortable enough to tell her what I was looking for. Her massages are heavenly. I recommend this place. Even the receptionist is super kind and warm.
